The evening was hosted by CAA's Josh Lieberman and his wife Maryam, at their beautiful home in Beverly Hills.
Introducing and presenting Halle, David and Arnon with the evening's honor were Ghetto Film School student director, Luna Garcia, and two GFS alumni, Chris Butler and Joyous Herron.
Additional guests included Ghetto Film School founder, Joe Hall, 21st Century Fox CEO, James Murdoch, Jamie Hector (The Wire, Bosch), NBC Universal's Ron Meyer, Amazon Studio's
Jason Ropell, Hollywood Foreign Press President Lorenzo Soria, Tony and Obie Award-winning playwright and performer, Sarah Jones
and other renowned GFS supporters in the entertainment industry.

Students traveled to Israel in August to produce Luna Garcia's script Charley Horse. During the presentation, The Journey Starts Here played which highlighted the trip.
