THE PROGRAM

The Fellows Program is a visual storytelling course for teenagers ages 16-18. Fellows receive immersive,

university-level training, learning both the art and business of cinematic storytelling and production training, with the preparation and guidance to help advance their education and provide a gateway into the film industry. The program is free of charge for all students.

 

  • 18-month filmmaking immersion

  • Guest talks, and instruction from leading filmmakers and industry experts

  • Visits to live sets and studios

  • 2-Week Residency at NFTS

  • A Thesis Film produced Internationally

  • Student Films are screened at large prestigious venues

  • Paid internships at top media and creative organizations

  • Transport and Food expenses are covered


THE STUDENTS

 

  • Must be ages 16-18 at the time of application

  • Passionate about Film, TV and Media

  • No prior experience necessary


THE REQUIREMENTS

 

The Fellows Program is intensive and challenging, requiring exceptionally high level of commitment from all participants. In addition to the 18-month class schedule, students on occasion spend weekends and evenings at GFS when additional time is necessary. Perfect attendance is mandatory. The value of your experience depends on maintaining great dedication to our program and your fellow filmmakers.
