Fellows Program

Our flagship Fellows Program is a 30-month cinematic storytelling course for students 14-18 that identifies young talent from local communities in New York, Los Angeles and London, and provides them with the opportunity and resources to pursue college degrees and careers in the arts.

Roster

Our Roster Program enhances opportunities for current Fellows, alumni and young professionals to pursue industry careers. The program offers access to the resources young professionals need to advance their film, television or digital careers, connecting them with employment and internship opportunities.

International Thesis Film

Each year the culminating course for third year Fellows has been the International Thesis Film, a 6-month real world production experience in which Fellows from New York, Los Angeles and London each create and shoot a 15-minute film based on their experiences learning about and producing a film in a foreign country.

The Frick Film Project

The Frick Film Project, the culminating course of the first year of the GFS NY Fellows Program, provides instruction in art theory and filmmaking practice. Fellows participate in seminars led by Deputy Director and Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator at The Frick Collection, Xavier F. Salomon, and members of the museum’s curatorial team. The program culminates with the creation of a student-produced short film inspired by The Frick and filmed on location at the museum.
